Afterwards, we will board a high-speed ferry to Yakushima. Explore the UNESCO World Heritage island, including the famous “1,000-Year-Old Cedar Tree.” Accommodation: The Iwasaki Hotel, known for its sulfur hot springs.
November 7 - Yakushima Full-Day Tour: Visit the Oko Falls, one of Yakushima’s iconic waterfalls. Explore Oyama Shrine and the Yakusugi tree. Enjoy stunning views from Crystal Cape. Return to the Iwasaki Hotel and unwind in its hot springs.
November 8 - Visit the Tanegashima Space Center, renowned for its vastness (equivalent to 200 Tokyo Domes). Explore Kadokura Cape, known for its historical connection to Portuguese traders in 1543. Tour the Teppokan Museum and enjoy a local specialty, tempura made with Asahi shrimp, for lunch. Experience the island’s blend of history and futuristic charm.
